Issue It is hoped that to mark
the celebration, in 2008, of Liverpool's year as "European Capital of
Culture", the issue of the LHS Journal for that year will also contain
additional pages and that it will be available from the AGM in May 2008. Newsletter This is usually published three times each year, and gives news of forthcoming talks, and Conferences, new books and
offers, and other items of interest to local history enthusiasts. It also
serves as a medium for notification of formal Society business. Where possible, it also includes reports
of talks recently given at Society meetings, and can thus vary in size
between 4 and 8 pages. Issued
primarily to members, there are usually some additional copies available for free distribution. World War
Two Memories This illustrated 32 page, A4, booklet of recollections by Society members and their relatives was issued to
mark the 60th Anniversary of World War II, primarily for private circulation
within the LHS and was not on general sale to the public. |
