Who can join?  

 

The LIVERPOOL HISTORY SOCIETY is open to anyone, anywhere who is interested in any aspect of the history of Liverpool and its environs.

 

What does it cost?            

Membership is available in four categories, at the following rates:      

 Ordinary        £   10.00            Joint           £15.00     

Life                £ 100.00            Student      £  5.00

 

Plus a copy of the latest LHS annual Journal

The membership year runs from 1st April until 31st March of the following  year, but for anyone joining after 1st January in any year, their first subscription  covers the period until 31st March of the next year.

 

Student membership is open to any young person between the ages of 12 and 18, and to anyone over 18 who is currently engaged in a course of full-time education at a University or College.

 

As a Registered Charity, personal subscriptions to the LHS may qualify as donations under the Gift Aid scheme, with the tax paid  thereon being recoverable by the Society at no extra cost to the member.

 

Companies, schools, colleges, libraries, museums etc may become Corporate Members at £25.00 per annum.

Please note that, while the LHS is pleased to assist with general questions about Liverpool's long history, it is unable to undertake specific research on behalf of enquirers  or assist with enquiries about Family History.
